Limewire On Mac For Students

Jun 16, 2008  the mac book is the perfect notebook for any colledge student and what is good about a mac is nomatter what you do on them they can not get viruses, so she can have limewire and download her favorite music without worrying about viruses. First successful download from LimeWire - man, this program stinks. Thinking that maybe he better implementation of Java in OS X would mean it would work better. As the kids like to say today, that used to be the shit!

Hi, hope someone can help me here -- no one responded at the Limewire forums. I'm having trouble connecting to Limewire on my new Mac: it just keeps attempting to connect but never has success.ere. I have my PC also on this network (details below) and it connects fine; I don't understand why if I use the same port settings on my Mac why it would not work. I've also tried the port settings recommended by Limewire and not had success. Thanks in advance for any help and let me know if any further info would be of help! Also, if you think there's a better place to post this, let me know. 1.OS version?
